There are beautiful views for everyone in the restaurant, thanks to the wall of windows along the ocean front. You can request window seating when making your reservation.
Currently, The Lantern Room serves breakfast from 7am – 11am and dinner from 5pm – 10pm. Check back soon for brunch and lunch options. The Lantern Room is also available to host private events during the day. Please email our sales team at sales@montereybeach.com for more details.
We sure do! Give us a call during normal business hours to discuss options or place your order. Don’t forget to let us know if you’re hitting the beach or a hiking trail so that we can help with recommendations and packaging.
Lantern Room oceanfront restaurant is located on the fourth floor of the Monterey Beach Hotel, just 60 feet from the Pacific Ocean. Our address is 2600 Sand Dunes Drive, Monterey CA. You’ll find the restaurant entrance adjacent to the hotel lobby.
Reservations for 1-12 guests can be made through Open Table or by calling the restaurant directly during business hours.
Our dress code is smart casual. We're on the beach, but we do require shirts and shoes.
The Lantern Room and Monterey Beach Hotel share an on-site parking lot for restaurant and hotel guests. As an alternative, there is also a public beach parking lot nearby.
